No shipping fees or anything!
So I've been packing all week. That's right, we're moving again! The fourth time this year. Maybe I make it seem easy since I do it all the time but moving with a preschooler, a toddler and an infant is no joke. We've only had "school" once this week, I've been packing and talking to movers, lenders, etc. all week. It's just been crazy.

Dollar Tree
I think I am single handedly keeping Dollar Tree alive with the number of pregnancy tests I buy. I love that everything in the store is only $1! I mean toliet paper, snacks, toys, you name it, they have it for a buck. You can't beat that unless you can get it for free. I'm going to be stopping by there tomorrow or Monday to pick up some Easter supplies. I <3 Dollar Tree!

Kids Eat Free/Discounted
Some restaurants offer days when kids can eat for free. This is pretty much the only time we take the kids out to eat. In our area the Denny's offers this on Tuesdays 4-10 p.m. and Saturdays, one free kids meal per paying adult. Chik-Fil-A is Tuesdays 5:30 to 7:30 with purchase of a combo meal, but not all branches participate. Kids eat free everyday at Cici's if they are under 3. At Fuddrucker's kids eat for 99 cents 4-9 p.m. on Mondays & Tuesdays. IHOP offers 1 free kids menu item per paying adult on Mondays through Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Kids under 3 always eat free at Golden Corral (I love this place!) and under 10 are free from 5-9 p.m. on Mondays (2 kids per paying adult). Kids eat free with adult purchase on Tuesdays at Bennigans. Lonestar - two kids eat free per adult on Tuesdays, all day, & Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., drinks included. Kids eat free all day on Tuesdays at Perkins. Damon's lets kids eat free on Wednesdays (one per adult). Kids eat for $1.99 on Wednesday evenings at Rainforest Cafe. On Sundays kids eat free at Hooters from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (although that's probably not where I'd be on Sundays. . .). Some Applebee's let kids eat for 99 cents on certain days but it varies.

Pantry Cooking
Until Justin starts his new job we are uber short on cash. And now we need to get some money together to move back into our house. To save money this week I decided not to go grocery shopping. I have a gallon of milk, a gallon of orange juice, and a gallon of iced tea (for the adults). If there is no drink specified we are drinking water. The only fresh produce I had in the house was a red pepper, a bag of baby carrots, and a bag of celery. I don't have any fresh meat in the house, but I do have 18 eggs (well 14 as of this morning) and some bacon. We will be making due with some seafood I have in the freezer, peanut butter and canned tuna/salmon. We have plenty of canned and frozen vegetables as well as frozen, canned and dried fruit. Everything I planned for a week's worth of meals is coming out of things I have on hand. I think the most important part of being frugal with food is having desert everyday. It keeps you from feeling deprived.
